Banks

Most banks in Fredrikstad are open from 09.00 to around 15.30 on weekdays and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Credit cards

Visa, Eurocard, MasterCard, Diners Club and American Express are widely accepted cards in Norway, but do note that some supermarkets and petrol stations do not accept credit cards.

ATMs

ATMs are to be found around banks and in many busy public places, such as at the airports, in train stations, around banks and in shopping centers.
